How to install WordPress using Softaculous

WordPress is an open source content management system (CMS) that is available to install using the cPanel Softaculous Apps Installer for free. In this guide, you can learn how to install WordPress using Softaculous.

Log into your cPanel.
Then scroll down and click on the Softaculous Apps Installer.
Under Top scripts, click on the WordPress logo.
When you click on the 'Install' button, you will see the following options:

Software Setup
Installation URL:	Select the domain where you need to install Wordpress
Directory:	Leave this blank to install on the domain directly. If you are installing in a subfolder of your site you type the folder name here. This will make the blog load like the following: yourwebsite.com/foldername.
Site Name	Enter the name of your Wordpress website.
Site Description	Enter the description for your Wordpress website.
Admin Username	Enter a username for your WordPress Dashboard login.
Admin Password	Enter a password for your WordPress Dashboard login.
Admin Email	Enter the email id of the site owner

Click Install.
Visit your website in your browser. Please remember Softaculous also allows you to login to your website's dashboard directly.
